Dogs can be overly excited, especially when experiencing something new. Because of this, we see a lot of people giving up their dogs when they’re expecting a baby.

For one family, giving up their dog named Millie just because they’re expecting a baby is out of the question. They decided to see how their beloved husky will react when the baby arrives.

Millie is a very energetic dog, and the couple didn’t know how she would react when she met her new human baby brother. To their surprise, they saw that Millie was extremely gentle with her new baby brother, Parker.

It seems like her maternal instinct kicked in, and she would protect Parker for as long as she lives. Starting that day, Millie can’t get enough of Parker. Every chance she gets, she would lay down beside parker and even give him puppy kisses.

Parker also loves Millie and plays with her all the time. On the other hand, Millie doesn’t mind having her fur tugged by Parker, and she’s incredibly patient with him.

Whenever Parker lets out a cry, Millie would be all concerned and lays her head beside baby Parker as if to comfort him and stop him from crying.

Millie would even let Parker lay down on her belly, and she’d never move. Sometimes, Millie would jump up on Parker’s cradle just to lay beside him.

Since day one, it seems like Millie knew that baby Parker would be her best friend. Up until today, Millie spends plenty of time playing with her human baby brother, Parker.

It’s truly a one-of-a-kind friendship that we’ll rarely get to see. Here’s a video of that heartwarming friendship between humans and dogs. The dogs in our care are part of our family, and they will accept new members of the family wholeheartedly. So, before considering giving up your dog in a shelter because you’re expecting a baby, you may want to reconsider and give the dog a chance to meet his or her new baby brother or sister. Who knows? Maybe they’ll become best friends like Millie and Parker.
